Judy and I acquired our 57 Chevrolet
convertible December 2003. It was built and purchased from David
Scott of
Cincinnati
,
Ohio
. It was a complete frame off restoration spanning over five
years. At that time it was updated with a new 502 cu. in.
Chevrolet crate engine utilizing aluminum heads and Accel Digital
Fuel Injection with a rating of 530 HP. The transmission is a ATI
700R4 with a 2200 stall converter and a Ford 9 “ 3.89
Positraction rear end. Brakes are power four-wheel disc and
steering is power 605. To keep cool and heat, Antique Air is used.
A Be Cool radiator module is used to keep the motor cool during
the hot MS Summer days. Cragar Star Wire Wheels with 57 BelAir
center caps are used on all four corners.
We enjoy local car shows and cruising with Big River
Classics.
